Starting designs based on agreed theme

We formed groups of five to begin the core of the module which is to create a selection of dresses with a common denominator and essence. our group decided on a hells angels/ biker theme. I decided to do some secondary research of the 'hells angels' culture to establish what sort of fashion and ideology encapsulates that social grouping. Ultimately the motorcycle gang has affiliations with various criminal acts including widespread violence, drug dealing, trafficking in stolen goods and extortion. This shows a hard tough nature which is particularly rebellious and therefore to emulate areas of their essence; hard dark colours should be used, in particular black, to represent their criminal nature's.
